About

I am a Lecturer in the Departments of Humanities and General Education at Mount Royal University, and in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Calgary.

I completed my PhD at the University of Calgary in January 2024,  where I held a Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholarship from 2015-2018. My supervisor was Mark Migotti.

From September 2017 to March 2018 was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Philosophy, working with Robert Brandom.

When I’m not doing philosophy, I can be found reading novels, poetry, and non-fiction from art history to zoology; looking at art; playing the guitar or drums; running, trying (and often failing) to avoid the news, and hanging out in cafés. I also sometimes dabble in non-academic writing, such as creative fiction and non-fiction, and the occasional poem.
